Vorwerk Mykonos Incentive Trip

Living it up with Petros the Pelican after a year of working hard is exactly what 73 of home appliance manufacturer Vorwerk’s team did thanks to Penguins Events.

Following a successful incentive last year, Vorwerk came back to our incentive travel brand, Penguins Events, wanting to provide another fantastic incentive trip experience. Available to those who gained entry to Vorwerk’s High Flyers Club, the incentive had to motivate team members, offer team-building activities, and treat the best of the best at Vorwerk to an unforgettable experience.

Rearing and ready to go, our team got to work creating an entire incentive programme for them from start to finish. The client decided on Mykonos as a destination for four days and five nights due to the vibrancy, beauty, and stylishness of this Grecian jewel, and we made sure to look after every aspect of the trip, from booking flights and accommodation, to ground management, on-site support and incentive trip logistics.

With suncream and big hats at the ready, the team embarked on plenty of unforgettable experiences, including a sailing trip to Delos and meals to the many beautiful restaurants of Mykonos. Naturally, we also ensured the team had plenty of time to relax, with leisure time built into the itinerary.

As one of the team members was in a wheelchair, accessibility was a key aspect of this trip. Using our expertise and supplier contacts, we were able to ensure the agenda and activities on offer were fully accessible. Each venue had to comply with our accessibility needs, and we worked with the venues to ensure the experience for this team member was exactly the same as the others.

Our Print team also worked on creating handy little booklets featuring the agenda of the trip, and branding and merchandise matched this design to ensure cohesiveness. Not only that, but we had a photographer and videographer on-site to create a post-event edit that guaranteed a legacy aspect of the trip, as well as reels and visuals for promotional social media.

The end result was 73 rewarded and recognised team members rating the experience 4.77 stars out of 5 for the trip overall, a 4.74 rating regarding the hotel stay, and a 4.74 rating for the various restaurants and dining experiences. Pretty impressive scores if we say so ourselves…

If that wasn’t enough, 97% of feedback respondents said they felt motivated to earn their ticket next year!

My first trip, initially daunted as no one from my branch was attending - however everything exceeded my expectations. The overall experience, the company, the little details, the sheer indulgent relaxation, the research, so much fun in so little time - will fight hard to achieve the next trip for sure.
