West Midland RFCA Going for Gold Recognition Event

No matter your business, recognising your people couldn’t be more important. When those people are veterans, reserves and volunteers in the Armed Forces, giving back seems even more vital. To celebrate and recognise over 90 corporate organisations that support people serving in the Armed Forces, veterans and their families, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) turned to DRPG.

Having worked with the MoD for several years, we knew just what it was looking for in its first ever Employer Recognition Scheme Gold Award event. With a mix of Gold, Silver and Bronze Award holders on the guest list, this event aimed to both recognise organisations supporting members of the Armed Forces and create memorable opportunities for networking and learning. That meant the event needed to do much, much more than just celebrate the recognition scheme’s success.

To make sure there were plenty of fresh ideas for every attendee to take away, we had a whole raft of speakers on hand throughout the day, and all touched on the key theme of sustainability. But this wasn’t some dry presentation. We packed Studio 212 with talking points relevant to the MoD, showed off the excellence to be found in our region and, thanks to our knack for knocking socks off, made sure all the content landed with a bang. To grab people’s intention, the event needed impact, and this was provided by our brilliant partners, DRPG. A huge thanks for their support and our illustrious speaker panel and of course all of our local Reserve units, all of whom were represented at the event.
