There’s something special about Nationwide. As the world's largest building society, and one run for the benefit of its members, everything the business does revolves around people. We’re people people too, so when we were tasked with creating a five-day strategic employee event, we jumped at the chance of creating something that would not only bring a huge amount of Nationwide colleagues together, but give them an experience they wouldn’t be able to forget.
Nationwide hoped to bring 14,000 colleagues from across the UK into one big space for some incredible immersive experiences. At ‘Our BIG Event’, we delivered exactly that. It all started with an introduction from Nationwide’s CEO, then the audience headed off to explore five different learning zones. Each was built around elements of the business strategy, including an interactive experiential area, a slam dunk word game and a social investment interactive house.
As if that wasn’t enough, we also produced a live app-driven gameshow, in-the-round interactive presentations, intermittent discussion sessions and a 360-degree experience. Throughout the day, we combined live stages with multi-screen projected content, immersing every single delegate in the Nationwide content all day long.
It was a resounding success. The whole team received heaps of positive feedback from Nationwide – you only need to look at the photos to see why. And you’ll never guess what… we proposed, created and delivered the whole thing in under two months!
