EE Employee Christmas Roadshow

EE is a British mobile network operator and internet service provider that prides itself on personality paired with incredible service. Coming up to Christmas, EE wanted to reach out to all frontline advisors, treating them to some seasonal fun ahead of the Christmas offering, while making sure they felt connected to the brand.

That posed a challenge. Teams were spread across the country, with people in stores and offices miles apart. We couldn’t get everyone to a single event, so we toured the event instead. We launched two roadshows, running consecutively, to reach around 630 retail stores across Scotland, England, Wales and Ireland, as well as five key contact centres.

With a fleet of nine fully branded mini buses, we sent the retail leadership team on the journey of a lifetime. They took trips around the UK for two weeks, heading into every store they passed for around 30 minutes, interacting with over 4,000 EE colleagues. In each session, they excited with giveaways and informed with presentations – all designed by us.

The second roadshow spent another two weeks on the road, travelling 900 miles to bring a fully branded extending truck into office car parks. Employees flocked out of offices to discover an intriguing mobile meeting space where they got hands-on with higher ups for an hour and had a little fun with musical icebreakers and recognition activities.

We managed all the logistics too, and with four weeks of travel and plenty of moving parts, it was no easy feat! The roadshow saw an incredible response from EE colleagues who were smiles all round and soon got into the festive spirit.

EE got its message out and reached its goal, meeting with an impressive 7,500 over just a few weeks of activity. And EE colleagues? Well, they enjoyed over 2,000 hot chocolates, over one million hundreds and thousands and five kilos of mini marshmallows – who wouldn’t be happy with that?
