Coloplast is a Danish multinational company that develops, manufactures and markets medical services. With a shiny new corporate strategy and the executive team undergoing a shakeup, the National Sales Meeting (NSM) was geared up to motivate the team and fill them in on crucial information.
A tour to our impressive HQ over in Hartlebury led to Coloplast tasking us with delivering its infamous NSM as a show-stopping virtual experience. The master plan was to bring teams together, celebrate achievements and up that energy within the sales team with exciting updates on all new products and services – all while working from the sofa.
The clock was ticking, and we only had three weeks to plan, organise and deliver the whole thing. Luckily for us, we love a time crunch, and our in-house teams worked together to create an immersive virtual environment, including a fancy fully branded lobby, auditorium, virtual expo and breakout spaces.
This was a super energised five-day fiesta with an intense programme unique to the three departments: Continence Care, Ostomy Care and Bowel Management. To keep things fresh, the virtual environment was updated daily, reflecting the different workshops and breakout sessions taking place.
Even from the sofa, it can be easy to get lost in the hustle and bustle of an event, so we rustled up a pre-event tour video and live chat tool for a super seamless delegate experience, allowing them to view their department-specific agendas in the lobby.
The virtual expo featured four fantastic stands, each allocated to a department within Coloplast, including multiple hotspots containing videos, reference documents and pre-reading materials for each session.
Within the auditorium, delegates could access the broadcast portal to watch a blend of live and pre-recorded sessions, and an incredibly useful Q&A feature, meant delegates could send in their burning questions throughout.
Networking was driven via Breakout rooms and immersive live workshops, plus plenty of fun activities to make the occasion interactive and unique. This included a super competitive general knowledge game in the lobby, with the highest scorer on the leader board winning a prize.
A care package was also sent to delegates in the post, consisting of scrumptious chocolates and a bottle of the bubbliest prosecco, and was to be opened on the first evening during a drinks celebration with Russell Kane.
Even with a tight deadline and lots of intricate content, we delivered an incredible, fully immersive event that was a huge success! So much of a success that the NSM environment is still accessible to delegates to revisit and reminisce in their own time.
