EE is the largest mobile network operator in the UK and was the first to pioneer the UK's superfast 4G mobile service. Its coverage is incredible, reaching 99% of the UK population. EE wanted to celebrate that fact as it launched a brand-new suite of Home Broadband products. It needed to educate its advisors and equip them with all the knowledge they needed to promote the range, and we were the people to make it happen.
We started with some exciting tech – AR – and built an energetic theme around its incredible capabilities. Within the ‘house party’ premise, we created a unique learning experience that connected seamlessly with the launch of a new advertising campaign, meaning employees got to experience the same excitement as the people they were selling to.
In four themed rooms, we created spaces where individuals could learn about the new products and services in a fun, engaging and educating way. Ultimately, we wanted learning that would stick, and our creativity made that possible. Our creative, design and graphics team worked to a very tight deadline, and by fast-tracking development, achieved what would typically be a three-to-four-month project within just 10 weeks.
The campaign went on the road, visiting nine EE locations over the course of four weeks. And everywhere it went, it received rave reviews. EE were extremely pleased with the engagement and impact of the campaign, so it was rolled out to a further 8,000 employees in local stores and partner sites. They received mini pop-up kits of the experience that could be used with their phones once the app had been downloaded. All of it was possible because of our linked-up approach to every campaign – we managed the road show, built the sets, developed the AR experience, created the app, wrote all the words and designed every last graphic. It couldn’t have looked, and worked, better.
