When Nationwide’s annual awards rolled around, it wanted to do more than just name check its winners. After a difficult year, the business wanted to drive emotion and make employees feel more valued than ever. A series of carefully designed graphic films were at the very core of the event we designed, and definitely delivered on morale.
We began with a story. This one was all about how Nationwide’s people made the business what it is. That message carried through the whole event, so naturally our motion graphics centred on the concept of a very special book. Inside, pages turned as the story progressed and each chapter revealed magical moments where people were the real focus.
The book motif added some theatre to the show and made these awards really stand out. More than that, the films fit perfectly into both our live and virtual setting so when the show had to switch to broadcast, they still connected our audience.
We think they looked pretty amazing, and we know they did exactly what they needed to in the moment. What do you think?
