Let's Own the Moment
We are proud sponsors of the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games
Our sponsorship
We have been appointed as Official Promotional Event Services Providers of the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games to support in the delivery of promotional events in the run up to this year's biggest international sporting event.
Our work
As part of our sponsorship with the Games, we have been presented with a number of fantastic new business opportunities.
We have worked together with the Birmingham 2022 Organising Committee on the design and launch of the mascot, Perry.
As well as on a sports festival to celebrate one year to go until the Games begin. We look forward to working with them on many more events in the build up to what is sure to be one of the biggest and best Commonwealth Games ever!
Our work
We have also been working with fellow sponsors Longines, creating 3 experiential activations and VIP experiences showcasing the brilliance of the games, and their incredible history as official timekeeper.
Our award-winning creatives designed an incredible internal communications campaign for legal partner to the Games, Gowling, to get everyone excited about their sponsorship and inspire employees to nominate their peers for the Queen’s Baton Relay.
Our people
We are also proud to have our own people involved directly in the Games.
We have team members taking part in the illustrious Queen’s Baton relay, earning their places as baton bearers in this exciting pre-Games event.
You will also see several friendly DRPG faces throughout the Games taking part as volunteers to make this huge international event run smoothly. If you’re lucky enough to be going along keep an eye out and don’t forget to say hi!
What it means to us
As the biggest event ever to be held in the West Midlands, that will bring together people and countries from all across the world, the Commonwealth Games is a fantastic fit with our ethos. As an organisation with a heritage in Worcestershire, but a global presence.
We are excited to be supporting the Games and local boxer Delicious Orie (DJ) every step of the way and long into the future as the legacy of the event lives on in Birmingham and beyond.
