Last week we celebrated with Penguins (a DRPG company) as they took home the gold in the Employee Benefits category at the Employment Engagement Awards for one of their bespoke incentive programmes.

This awards scheme recognises the great work being done by companies to support and engage with their team members. It aims to inspire others by showing them best practice in employee engagement. The Employee Benefits category aims to reward companies that tie their reward and recognition strategy to business objectives and engages employees beyond simple transactional elements such as salary or private medical insurance.

Penguins took to the stage to claim the award that they entered on behalf of The Adecco Group for their annual incentive trip which they have been running for the last 3 years. This year it was a trip to Abu Dhabi for 135 of Adecco’s top performers to reward and recognise their achievements. The trip included a 3-night tailor-made programme with dune bashing and a private desert camp dinner as well as an exclusive dinner on the sort after island of Nurai.

Alex Fleming, President and Country Head at The Adecco Group commented, “I am honoured that The Adecco Group UK&I won the Employee Benefits award at the Employee Engagement Awards last week. People are at the heart of our business and we are incessant about constantly improving our workplace culture for all colleagues. This recognition is about what we do for our people and I am really proud of that. A huge thank you to Penguins Events who have been our trusted partner for the last few years and who nominated us for this award.”
