History was made on the 3rd June 1765 when what would become Lloyds Bank opened its door for the first time in Birmingham. The Lloyds Bank Commercial Banking division wanted to mark a hugely successful 18 months of their Client First programme set against the vibrant backdrop of 250 years of Lloyds Bank. The event would be a standout in the continuing history of the organisation.
Working closely with the commercial banking and internal communications team we devised an ambitious programme and creative. Hosted at NEC Birmingham, the event incorporated a senior leader’s conference, pride exhibition and an evening celebration. Over the two days almost 2000 colleagues and guests experienced two separate conferences and an evening which was a theatrical spectacle befitting this momentous occasion. The event culminated in an interactive digitally-led bank of the future summit for 800.
This hugely successful event received excellent feedback and has left a lasting impression that is still spoke about today – with colleagues proud to be a part of Lloyds Bank history and looking forward to playing a key role in its future; and, at its heart, always putting its clients first.
