BT Consumer Live 2019

Following the success of the BT Group’s Consumer division’s inaugural 2018 conference, DRPG were once again appointed to deliver Consumer Live for 2019 – the biggest face-to-face opportunity to bring together all three Consumer brands (BT, EE and Plusnet) to share stories and hear first-hand, future plans from their senior management team.

Featuring the latest in 360-degree projection mapping for the main plenary and utilising five halls across the NEC Birmingham to create one large, spectacular single exhibition area hosting an impressive number of activations from leading brands in technology, communications and entertainment, the two-day event successfully supported the leadership team in engaging their Frontline colleagues and building excitement for the future.

Special guest appearances supported several activations: delegates could participate and film with TV presenter and journalist Jake Humphrey for BT Sport; actor Craig Murray resumed his character “Plusnet Joe” to host an interactive pub quiz; and football pundit Robbie Savage hosted a recreation of The Cube game show, inviting delegates to join him on stage to play short segments of the game.

The evenings were dedicated to internal awards schemes and exceeded all expectation, thanks to performances from chart sensations Tom Walker and the Kaiser Chiefs.

The event was part of the Group’s “Consumer Live Week” campaign, supported by pre and post cascade communications, including live TV broadcasts and event roadshows, reaching 21,000 employees overall.

Consumer Live is our flagship employee engagement programme and a real highlight for the team across Consumer.
