As a Junior Test Analyst within our Digital Function, your passion and purpose are to make sure the products we create work seamlessly and just flow for our customers. Your focus will be to provide testing support to the Test Function across complex, multi-platform and dynamic business systems as one of our very own junior testers.

How you make it all possible…

You’ll join our digital team and take the role of Junior Test Analyst on our digital projects. You will work within a testing team and work closely with the Test Lead, UX Designers, software engineers, project managers and of course other testers to ensure quality assurance across complex, multi-platform and dynamic business systems.

  • Work alongside the Test Analysts to ensure a high level of quality assurance and testing coverage is achieved across all digital projects you are working on
  • Analyzing requirements and designs to capture issues early in the production process.
  • Supporting the execution of manual testing on digital solutions using functional testing methods.
  • Compiling test reports and updating issue tracking tools with detailed reproduction steps.
  • Able to assist with testing of software products, regression testing of products, reporting of defects and testing of defect corrections as required.
  • Recording of software defects and provide thorough technical descriptions and evidence, and to provide feedback and regular updates to the team.
  • To assist with the preparation of Test plans and test scripts and able to demonstrate the testing scenarios.

What’s in your toolbox…

You’ll have a strong desire to learn with an interest in a career in software testing. Experience in a digital/IT environment would be beneficial but isn’t essential.

  • ISTQB Foundation certificate in testing would be beneficial but not essential
  • Experience in using issue tracking tools including JIRA/GitLab would be an advantage.
  • Experience would be beneficial in both cross browser and device testing.
  • Must have experience of working within teams.
  • Must have experience of working collaboratively with others.
  • Must have experience of working autonomously.
  • You are passionate about technology and testing.
  • You have a hunger to learn new skills.
  • You have an eye for detail and take pride in what you do.
  • You have good organisational skills and can prioritise your workload.

The role will be based primarily in Hartlebury, but there will be times when you’ll need to work from our other offices and undertake other related commercial duties both in the UK and overseas. Flexibility is key!
