Digital Resourcer
PURPOSE
This role is based within our Digital department and will be responsible for scheduling and planning the activities of our production teams on a variety of live projects. This role will ensure our teams are working as efficiently as possible by making full use of all the available resource. A key part of this role will be the ability to problem solve and find solutions to resourcing problems and keep on top of ever-changing requirements, as new projects land, and current projects evolve. The operations team is rapidly growing and brings the opportunity to evolve new processes and procedures.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Digital Resourcer will be responsible for maximising the efficiency of the production team by planning and forecasting where each team member will be used. They will be supporting Project Managers and Senior Production Team members to keep projects on schedule and budget.
Principle duties
- Organise production team members schedules ensuring they are clear, accurate and make efficient use of time
- Book in project work and organise time to meet client demands
- Ensure schedules are maximised using all the resources of the team and reducing time as far as possible
- Work with the Project Management team to create and maintain accurate project plans which can be shared with clients
- Work with the Senior Production team to ensure we are utilising the best team members for each task wherever possible
- Work with all production teams to ensure budgets are monitored on all projects and kept on track
- Work to ensure we maximise are potential and schedules are as efficient as needed to be
- Work with third party suppliers to organise additional production capacity when the internal team are fully booked

Skills, Qualifications and Experience
- Proven experience of planning and managing resource for medium teams
- Excellent time management skills
- Knowledge of Office 365, Outlook, Word and Excel
- Knowledge of Ganttic (preferable not essential)
- Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and compromise
- Able to work as part of a team
- Some knowledge of the Digital sector is preferred, a basic understanding of Digital technologies and coding would be useful
Other requirements
A full clean drivers license is essential as part of this role, it is your responsibility to ensure your insurance provides ‘Business use’ in order to claim mileage

The role will be based primarily in our Worcestershire head office. There will be times when this role will require you to work from the company’s other offices. You will be expected to work flexibly and undertake other related commercial duties.
