drp hits 150 employees
drp has employed a whole host of new team members in 2014 taking the agency's ever-growing team to 150. The arrival of Sara Lyddy and Mark Roddy, announced last week sees us hit our milestone. We have continued to grow throughout 2014 after a record year in 2013 and Dale Parmenter, group CEO, envisages more people joining the team before the end of the year.
At our summer conference where we announced our five-year plan. We set the ambitious target of growing our team to 250 in that space of time. Hitting 150 is obviously an important milestone on the way to this target, says Dale. We're not hiring people just to hit a target of course. Our rapid growth across our business divisions needs to be supported by the best talent and this means bringing in the right experienced, passionate individuals to join the team.
drp's apprenticeship scheme has also helped bring on board new talent with four apprentices making the transition to full-time employment in the past year. The acquisition of GROSVENORFILM also saw five new faces join the expanding London office. Our digital team has seen significant growth with the team doubling in size in the past 18 months, reflecting the transforming landscape of the industry and how digital is infusing all other elements of communications delivery. We still have a number of vacant positions across divisions and will continue to recruit talent throughout the year through expanded apprenticeship schemes and traditional methods.
