EE is a British mobile network operator, internet service provider and a division of BT Group. As of 2019 it is the largest mobile network operator in the UK, with around 32 million customers.
EE wanted to deliver an event that showcased its latest service and product offerings, bringing the latest technology and innovations to life. DRPG needed to ensure that the event met the needs of several audiences, including a launch to national press, customers and internal colleagues from across the business.
We developed an event that provided an opportunity for business presentations and customer case studies, as well as an experiential session that enabled guests to get hands-on and interact with the new products and services. The presentation area took place in a small, yet personal environment with a wraparound projection screen. Through the use of powerful imagery, we supported EE’s presenters and customers, helping to bring their messages to life in an engaging way. However, more unconventional was the experiential element delivered. We created and built the EE ‘city’ - a future metropolis in microcosm, fashioned from cardboard. Guests were invited to stroll around the shops and parks that we built, and experts demonstrated the new 4G technologies to help them better connect their businesses and lives.
