Brand Launch Event - Service Industry
The organisation
Established in 1993, HomeServe PLC is a multinational home emergency repairs and improvements business based in Walsall, UK.
The Brief
HomeServe wanted to bring together all their engineers to launch their new vision and strategy.
The solution
The event took place at the NEC Birmingham over five days, allowing engineers to select a day that best suited their diaries. Before the event, we undertook listening groups with the engineers to find out how they like to learn and what they would like to see, hear and experience at the event. This helped us shape the content and create a real connection with the audience. The main plenary sessions were theatre style and consisted of a series of business presentations brought to life through great visuals, voting and gamification. Following the business presentations, we unveiled the HomeServe Village where delegates toured around, interacting with a variety of experiences and mini workshops. These ranged from a picnic on the village green where they could hear from the customer, through to a football tournament in the school playground. We used the frontages of houses and room sets to create life-like environments where we could bring their products, services and real stories to life.
The results
Homeserve reported that its engineers felt very positively about the event and that is gave them not just an overview of the new strategy, but also the motivation to go out and implement it.
