Print Installer

Your reason for being here…

Everyone at DRPG has a purpose and yours is to deliver some of our most dynamic print projects to an incredible standard, while working closely with teams across our business.

The way you roll…

You are just the organised, detail-oriented professional we're looking for. You know your way around any exhibition or conference. After all, you’ve got heaps of experience with large format print installation in just those kinds of environments. Providing top-notch service is your jam, and you're as positive as a cat in a room full of laser pointers when challenges arise. Plus, you thrive on the pressure live events bring.

You're self-motivated, a lone wolf and a team player rolled into one. Your ‘can do’ attitude thrives in even the most challenging situations – you’re known for keeping things light and getting the job done, even when it seems impossible. Your time management is impeccable, your eye for detail is next-level and you're really committed to continuous learning. You’re confident in your knowledge and experience, but you know there’s always more to discover and develop.

How you make it all possible…

  • Assisting with the co-ordination of production, print finishing and installation of print projects
  • Installing on-site branding, including co-ordination with other internal teams, Producers, Project Management, Tech, and Construction (Live division) for all aspects of Print
  • Installing various graphics including vinyl, wallpapers, canvas wraps, stand-off logos and lettering, freestanding displays, modular systems and more
  • Understanding print project briefs and delivering to expected timescales and quality, every time
  • Helping out with the scheduling of installations
  • Carrying out on-site surveys whenever you need to
  • Working outside normal office hours (that will probably include plenty of travel and working some unsociable hours, but you’ve worked in events before, it’s just part of the job)
  • Confidently working on your own from time to time
  • Instigating and executing different methods of production and best practice to improve efficiency, productivity, quality, and sustainability, with help from the Print team
  • Making sure high levels of communication and customer service are always achieved
  • Being your best creative self, and helping to make DRPG be seen as a highly creative business
  • Evolving with the business and the department as it expands

This list is not exhaustive, and you will be expected to work flexibly and undertake other such duties as the management may, from time to time, reasonably require.

What’s in your toolbox…

  • Plenty of experience in large format print installation
  • Even more experience working with a variety of print media
  • Confidence instructing and advising on suitable production methods when undertaking site surveys with internal and external clients
  • An eye for detail, and pride in what you do
  • Great attitude to problem solving, plus creativity (love those lightbulb moments)
  • A positive outlook, even when working under pressure
  • Fantastic communication skills
  • Familiarity with everything from canvas to Foamex, acrylic, di-bond, card, Swedboard/Reboard, PVC, wallpapers, floor graphics and more
  • A real passion for quality – you’re comfortable conducting tests and inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluate quality or performance
  • Willingness to work outside normal office hours when required
  • Some computer skills – confidence in Microsoft Excel is a real bonus

Get to know us…

We’re one of the most unexpectedly all-round capable communications agencies that’s been on the go for years – ever since our head honcho set up shop in a shed back in 1980, in fact.

Since then, we’ve made it our mission to make anything possible for our many and varied clients, putting our creative flair into delivering strategic communication campaigns, digital solutions, film and videos, events, exhibitions, and a whole lot more in between. We’ve grown a lot, but we’ve kept everything that made us great, back from the very day we first started out. Our global HQ and largest studios are smack bang in the middle of the UK and well worth a visit to see for yourself!

Hang on, there’s more…

The role will be based primarily in our Hartlebury office. There will be times when you’ll need to work from our other offices and undertake other related commercial duties both in the UK and overseas. Flexibility is key! We’re a friendly team. We really, really welcome anyone who wants to become part of a brilliant company. If you’re passionate with a cracking drive to deliver on our ‘anything’s possible’ mindset, we’d love to hear from you!

DRPG is an equal opportunities employer. We're committed to building a diverse, inclusive, and authentic workplace where everyone can be their best, so if you're excited about this role, we would love to hear from you and look forward to receiving your application.
