EE wanted to build on the buzz of previous events and create something even more meaningful for their people, so we went live with The Big Broadcast. Inspired by The Big Breakfast, this was a high-energy TV-style show hosted by Rylan Clark and EE’s own Founders, packed with games, stories, and business updates that didn’t feel like business as usual. With interactive moments for at-home viewers and a format built around fun, pride, and connection, it was a celebration of what EE stands for; people, progress, and possibility.

CHALLENGE

Building on the success of previous EE Live events, this yearly offering needed to combine excitement, vision and dial-up real interactivity for colleagues.

This event was all about connection; colleagues from every area across the business needed to feel part of it.

SOLUTION

Our answer was, The Big Broadcast - a live TV show, inspired by The Big Breakfast, which combined interactivity for the at home audience as well as high-level entertainment to engage people. Hosted by Rylan Clark, and EE’s own team members (known as Founders) the show was packed with personal stories, games and the all-important business updates, but was a far cry from anything dry or lacklustre. Reinforcing EE’s own commitment to innovation and community, it was also a celebration of the team’s collective achievements.

IMPACT

With a 4.6 out of 5 satisfaction rating the broadcast exceeded expectations. Key highlights include: 91% of employees expressing pride in their colleagues. 87% clarity on their role in EE’s success and 86% excitement about the future.
