Campaign: TV Advert

As leisure travel began to outpace daily commuting, Chiltern Railways saw an opportunity to rethink how the brand showed up in people’s lives. The brief was to move beyond function and timetables to create an emotional connection, reminding people why they travel at all; for discovery, for connection, for moments that matter.

Our response was Explore More, a TV advert designed to put feeling back at the heart of the journey. Filmed on trains with real passengers, the film captured authentic, unscripted moments; families heading out for the day, friends sharing quiet conversations, individuals lost in thought as the landscape passed by. Threaded through these real-world scenes was a beautifully crafted animated tiger, walking calmly through the carriage. A striking symbol of curiosity and exploration, the tiger added a layer of magic and memorability, bringing the campaign’s spirit to life without losing its sense of authenticity.

The film became the emotional anchor for the wider campaign, airing across television, video-on-demand, social and digital channels. It played a central role in driving 7.7 million VOD impressions and 7 million social impressions. Searches linked to Explore More rose by 32%, signalling increased consideration and renewed interest in the brand.
